In Uncategorized on July 26, 2009 at 9:19 pm

dsc_0371On March 3rd, 2009 Aniysah was taken from her mother’s arms and has only seen her one time since!  This is a story about the (in)justice system and how it fails brown women and children daily. Please help Angeline get her daughter back. Please help this story be but a painful memory.

  1. [...] now we are launching a new cyber campaign entitled, “Where is Aniysah?” Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)Be Bold: Women of Color Against Violencebe bold, [...]

  2. This truly is a story of injustice! Aniysah is an amazing sweet girl who loves and is loved by her mother! The fact that the system has failed Aniysah and her best interest so profoundly astounds me. The judge obviously has not done his duty as a judge to protect Aniysah and Angeline’s rights! I pray every day for Aniysah’s safety, happiness, and her speedy return to her mother. We miss you Aniysah!

  3. hang in there baby!! I am claudine ncmbts mod and ur sista in unity I love your blog and am blogging out red- ( red is also my color and for the same reasons!! we’ll get ya connected and side bty side we shall walk with truth in the nae of justice!!

  4. it sounds as if this current judge camacho does not know what he is doing, how on earth can a judge issue an order of protection but then let the individual take off with the child and not have any information about the home, number of contact. what is this judge doing???? sounds like he is not doing his job because if he would read the files then it sounds like this would not have dragged on this long especially with the truth staring you in the face!!! Someone tell the judge to wake up and smell the coffee and to do his job for the sake of Angeline’s 6 year old daughter aniysah

  5. I am here for her.
