March 3 2009 – Police came and brought me and my daughter to the precinct on March 3rd, 2009.
March 4th 2009- The judge said Angeline would need to file a petition for an order to show cause if I wanted the Default Custody Order vacated and or visitation.
March 5th 2009 – filed petition to vacate order/and get visitation set up until order is vacated. Was told we would have to serve the Respondent, Aniysah’s father.
March 6th, 2009 – back in court was told that the order had to be amended.
March 11th, 2009 – submitted copy of video showing Respondent being served and Judge Camacho excused him from being in court because he said he has to work and he had an attorney who was partially retained.
March 13th, 2009 – back in court to request hearing since court erred in giving hearing
March 18th, 2009 – back in court to hear on order to show cause but was ambushed in the sense that they had my son and his father give testimony. We were never told if we were having a hearing or not. The Judge went on record to state that they were out of town witnesses and he was going to allow their testimony. The Judge also stated he did not know what he was going to do. He said I don’t know if we are going to have a hearing or not. My attorney pleaded with Judge Camacho to tell us if this was going to be a hearing so we could prepare as well. He would not tell us
March 19th, 2009 – back in court to her the further testimony of my son’s father and they never gave us a chance to rebuke what he had stated on the record. At this time the Judge, Judge Fernando Camacho said again I don’t know what we are going to do and he gave us an adjourn date of May 28th, 2009. My attorney argued that was too long to delay me and my daughter not having seen each other. He said it was his court room and he could do whatever he pleases.
March 30th, 2009- back into court to file emergency order to show cause and get immediate visitation. We were told to come back to court March 31st, 2009.
March 31st, 2009- come back and the Judge does not even entertain our case. Said he is not doing anything at this time. Stated the Law Guardian has informed him that the Child (Aniysah) is happy and well adjusted and is not even asking for the mother.
April 2nd, 2009 – still asking for visitation, The Judge said he needs assurances that the visitation will be held in a safe dwelling. Said he will give decision on everything on May 28th, 2009.
May 28th, 2009 – come to court Judge Fernando Camacho said he has not had a chance to read anything yet and he is still waiting for transcripts.
May 29th, 2009 – back in court to submit papers from child clinical psychologist stating Aniysah would suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and visits needed to happen immediately. We submitted emergency papers to show Father has been putting another child on the phone to pretend to be our daughter. We were told he would call the Emergency Circumstances on the calendar.
June 15th – we find out that Judge Fernando Camacho put on the record that there was no emergency but his clerk never called us to let us know it would be called. He said he would address everything on June 18th, 2009.
June 18th, 2009 – Judge Fernando Camacho – was not present in court but rendered an order giving an adjourn date on August 24th, 2009.
Out of the 13 court dates from March 4th until June 18th. The respondent father was only present for 3. He was excused from the other dates because Judge Fernando Camacho stated the father had a job.
